Geno's Personal Recipe or Daily Schedule
I started this self researched diet in 1990. Wasn't diagnosed with hep c until 2002. The only real change is 2002 I stopped drinking beer, averaged 2-3 beers a night to relax. Morning 'Health Shake'. 8 0z milk, 1 tablespoon wheat germ, 1 tablespoon Brewers yeast, flavor wih Ovaltine or whatever. Dietician said add tablespoon of Whey but not gotten any yet. With shake I take Milk Thistle premium extract standardized to 80% with blessed thistle (Natures Way V-capsule), Oriental Ginseng 12mg (Natures Sunshine capsule), Ginko 60mg 24% standardized extract (NOW v-caps), Sea Vegg (sea vegg capsules contain 12 seaweeds from clean ocean..too expensive but ebay makes it affordable at 1/3rd price) Shower, then Breakfast of Cold cereal or Oatmeal with banana, Blueberries and other fruits sometimes. With breakfast I take a Multiple Daily Vitamin with no iron (Twinlab Daily capsule), Ester C 500 mg with 200mg Bioflavonoids - RoseHips etc (NOW capsule), Kyolic formula 106 aged garlic with cayenne, hawthorn (capsule). I often have bacon or ham and eggs breakfast, don't care what nursy says. Eat healthy lunch and supper. Most of the time I eat 4-5 smaller meals a day instead of 3 larger meals. I love milk and drink all I want, but 1% milk. I feel milk is healthy. Evening after last meal, Vitamin A Beta Carotene 10,000 IU (capsule), Basic-B Complex (Country Life capsule) , Ester C , Vitamin E 200 IU - d-alpha tocopheryl , Milk Thistle. Guzzle extra water. Walk all i can for cardio also really toughens back muscles and eases pain from injuries, DDD, DJD. Can take awhile, but look back and notice the difference. Not to mention strong legs and keeps gut hard and inside the belt. Bicycle is great, but not just a cruise, gotta pump that buger. Isometrics, Isotonics good stuff, 20 minutes or so a day... if I'd never had spinal injuries and surgeries I'd still pump iron, go to the Gym and possibly jog. Sunshine is the only natural source of vit D, I get all I can within reason, sometimes i get slightly sunburned. Sunshine on the shins does something good, can't remember what, possibly the bodies own cholesterol related, 5-10 minutes a day or when possible. I add a Sport Drink each day to break up the blandness of straight water and I feel it's good to keep electrolytes in order. 1979 I bought a Negative Ion Generator, 'Modulion' made by Amcor, made in Israel , I can't find these on the market anymore. 5 1/2" x 4" x 3" box, not pyramid shape (cheaper-weaker) unless that's all you can find. ebay is a great source and inexpensive. Expensive otherwise, cost me $80 In 1979. Negative ions make the air feel like you're near a waterfall. I have a Neg Ion Generator in nearly every room of my house. I highly recommend that everyone Read 'The Ion Effect' by Fred Soyka with Alan Edmunds, learn important things possibly found nowhere else. Careful, I bought a Negative Ion Projector, It was too strong and made for indoor pot growing, builder friend understood and suggested I stick with what I already used. Also Check out which direction to point the head of your bed, it's very important. Ancient knowledge. Google the things I'm vague on. I also used to get B-12 plus anabolic steroid injections from my civilian doc, 1975-1999, then he retired. A different doc (German), who was hell bent on building a new Supreme White Race Started me on this. I didn't have any idea why he started this at the onset, but I felt great, and everything I touched built muscle mass. I was turned into a 5' 9", 200 pound prototype. My wives loved it ! 1st doc died in 1982 or so and his cohort continued giving me the shots until 1999 when he retired. Point is, the shots of B-12 probably kept the Hep C from causing more damage to my body. Many Hep C patients get B-12 injections from what I hear lately. I'll ask my VA doc but doubt I'll ever get B-12 injections again. Why? Because I like it, and federal law seems to prohibit things I like.


How these changes  have affected  Geno's quality of life?
I started this regimen in 1990 to keep myself healthy. I wasn't diagnosed with Hep C until 2002. This diet probably helped control the severity of my Hepatitis C without my knowing it. My diet, my opinion, no wise ass remarks needed from anyone. Some can possibly learn from this. I look forward to reading others diets and recomendations. If one person betters his or her health from my Recipe I'll consider it a victory on my part and theirs. RIDE HARD OR STAY HOME !

We have taken the above for 12 years its worked real well for us ,we both busted on interferon + ribavirin The above has helped keep our blood Liver Function readings in slightly high to Normal ranges .We started the recipe in 1995 & have increased the recipe as we read more information on Herbs, Vitamins, Supplements & Minerals. **The above recipe may also help a liver damaged from over use of Alcohol Acupuncture also helped in lowering our Blood Liver function readings, concentration was on the Liver..
