I forgot to mention one important facet of your claim. As your husband was not 100% SC for 10 years continuously prior to his death, any hope of DIC is really impossible. I was a little tired last night and stopped for dinner. When I started in again, I started on the being married for ten years which was an error on my part. I apologize for the misinformation. You should consult with your VSO ,but I am unaware of a solution to this dilemma. They have crafted their rules and regulations to make it very difficult for spouses to obtain DIC.
